Shipping & Delivery

General:

Digital Lifestyles maintains a business-class account with FedEx delivery services and utilizes their Express services. Once your order is secured, we will send your deliverables using this service. If any order is delayed from our posted schedules, we will post its status on our sites, along with an expected date or milestone that we will attempt to send your order once again. If you have signed up for our newsletter services, you will also be sent an alert email notifying you of your order's status.

Designs:

Orders typically require 7-10 business days to process after hardcopy architectural documents have been received. Emailed architectural documents typically require 5-7 business days to process. Our fulfillment process requires printing and packaging to complete your order's delivery, which typically take a day to complete.

Electronic Equipment:

Digital Lifestyles does not store or stock electronic equipment that do not require staged assembly, configuration, or calibration at its facilities. In such cases that Digital Lifestyles will not handle equipment, orders will be drop-shipped directly to the client's deliver-to site. Handled equipment will be sent from Digital Lifestyles' local facilities. In both cases, delivery status will be emailed to the client using the contact information provided on the client's profile on our sites. Information communicated will include expected delivery dates, tracking numbers, and delivery confirmation as reported from the carrier.

Privacy & Security

What information do we collect?

We collect information from you that allows us to provide services and content that are customized to your needs. You are anonymous on this site until you provide us with this information. When you register with our site or order products from our site, we collect information that you supply, such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, order history, and billing information.

How do we use the information we collect?

To protect your privacy, we pledge to keep the personal information that you provide to us secure and private. Our agreements with business partners, agents, and affiliates have strict confidentiality and security provisions and we require our employees to affirm the confidential nature of your information and not share it with any third party.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or release your personal information to anyone outside our company, contractors, and affiliates, other than in compliance with this privacy and security policy. Digital Lifestyles, its vendors, suppliers, affiliates, and subcontractors use the personal information you provide voluntarily to administer our business activities, provide customer service, contact you concerning your orders, and make other products and services available to you. Your information may be combined with information about you which we gathered from other sources. We share your information with our affiliates, credit card issuers, and other companies where necessary to complete your transaction. We may also use your information to send you promotional communications by mail or e-mail, or share your information with our business partners.

To the extent required or permitted by law, we may collect, use and disclose personal information in connection with security-related or law enforcement investigations or in the course of cooperating with authorities or complying with legal requirements. We may also use your information as permitted by law to perform credit checks, report or collect debts owed, or protect the rights or property of Digital Lifestyles, our employees, our customers, this site, or its users.

How can I change my preferences?

We respect the right of each visitor to control how his or her personal information is used. If you do not want us to provide your information to our business partners, or if you do not wish to receive promotional communications from us or our affiliates concerning special offers, discounts, airline bonuses, or contests, select one of the following options to provide us with your privacy preferences:

Returns & Replacements

Warrantees:

Digital Lifestyles honors all manufacturers' warranties and positions itself as your advocate in securing eligible warranty work. Digital Lifestyles does execute a thorough pre-submission check-in procedure that ascertains if the equipment submitted is actually functioning in the manner that the customer states. If the equipment is deemed eligible, then the equipment will be submitted to the manufacturer for warranty work, and returned according to the processes and rules that the manufacturer abides by.

Services are generally not warrantied, and therefore not eligible for warranty. However, Digital Lifestyles may offer updated design services or design upgrades in the effort to attract sales for current customers. In this case, Digital Lifestyles is extending additional services at a reduced rate under its own prerogative. Therefore, demands upon correcting inaccuracies, omissions, scaling, or additional adjustments will be honored upon purchase imminence, or established credit only.

Refunds

If an order is returned and leaves a remaining balance, the balance will be furnished in the form of a business or teller's check as legal tender for a refund on that balance. Digital Lifestyles does makes every attempt to not leave outstanding credit on its balance sheets for any reason, or for any customer.

Refunds:

Refunds will be honored up to 30 days after confirmed delivery for any reason. After 30 days, refunds will be granted only if the equipment submitted is eligible for warranty and the customer desires a refund specifically in writing (email or mailed letter).

Exchanges:

Exchanges will be honored up to 60 days after the purchase of equipment of the same or greater value only, in mint cosmetic and operable condition, minus the value of shipping and handling for the return of the exchanged-from equipment. The exchanged-to equipment will be sent upon receipt of the exchanged-from equipment to Digital Lifestyles' location, and payment satisfaction of any difference between the two items being exchanged.

The customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges. COD deliveries will not be accepted.

Ordering
Orders are processed as they are received.
Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Credit:

Digital Lifestyles does not have credit accounts nor relationships with its vendors, suppliers, or any other entity it does business with. Therefore, it is not able to extend credit to its customers for any reason. All purchases must be made up front before equipment is ordered or shipped to the client's site for installation.

Viewing Orders
Orders are not viewable without both registering and logging into the site.
Updating Account Information
You may adjust your account information as you deem necessary. Digital Lifestyles does not input any personal or pertinent information into your account profile without your explicit consent. Customized orders may be retrieved by searching using your provided order number from Hanley Wood, followed by your last name (i.e. "###### Name"). This information is given to you from Digital Lifestyles' naming convention displayed on your design package's floor plans documents, listed at the top center of each page.
