Quick Overview

Add up to 40TB to your Zion network in 4 rack spaces. You can cascade these units on your network to increase storage by over 8,500 DVDs (or over 6.6 million songs) at a time. You may be hard pressed to find enough media to fill this enclosure to its capacity.

Product Description

We have created a custom rack mounted Network-Attached Storage unit with 20 SATA II 3.5"" hot-swappable bays. This is an easy to use and cost-effective hard disk drive storage system that fits 3.5” hard drives within a 4U unit.

The NAS unit can be configured as a spanning JBoD, mirroring (RAID 1), striping (RAID 0), or a combination of mirroring and striping (RAID 10), even RAID 50. The NAS unit sports up to 40TB, which will store over 8,500 standard-length movie DVDs (or 40 Blu-Ray titles) , if used in JBoD mode with 2TB hard drives.

This unit is made to be located on a rack, but can be placed virtually anywhere in your home--on a shelf, in a closet, or next to the cable boxes.
